dancing through sunday

This is my outfit from Sunday, and the dress is vintage via my grandma. I get a large percentage of my clothing from her, which contributes to my style and love for kitsch. Not to long ago she gave me this cat sweater vest but I haven't figured out how to wear it.
Dancing around my room, giving myself a headache.
I love folds and textures of fabrics, the way they drape and fall.
I tried painting with watercolors (again). It has always been struggle for me (my water to paint ratios have always been a little off),but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
I got these inscence in November, and finally decided to burn them. My bestie Kidist gave me that cat magnet and the candle as a late birthday gift (it was in August) last saturday.

Ashes to Ashes
Kidist also got me these postcards from Pride last year.
The little painting below Woman Deconstructed was done with watercolor/wax/ink. I'll post a close up later. I thought I should tell you guys/gals that I've started contributing to Teenage Diary. My days have consisted of school work/painting/doing yoga to Grimes/having deep conversations with cats. A few days ago I got a package from Flower! It had goodies and a hand written letter. I adore letters and appreciate people who send them! In this computer age it's nice to get mail every once in a while (and not the usual junk/advertisements). It can really brighten your day.

  1. I can agree with the mail thing, which is why I have a habit of buying too much online just so I can feel better by receiving a package. :d The painting looks cool and that dress looks lovely on you! x
