Oh pour me another drink and punch me in the face

Outfit: Shirt-Vintage/Jeans-Target/Shoes-Vintage/Button-High Museum/Purse-Gift
I went to the Father John Misty concert Saturday night and it was a blast! We arrived fairly early to get close to the stage. Since we were there so early we were standing for a few hours and my feet fell asleep but it was worth it. They sounded delightful live, it completely meet my expectations. Plus his AMAZING dance moves were the cherry on top.

Oh yea did I mention Chantelle and I got to meet Father John Misty aka Joshua Tillman. He signed my ticket, asked me what the button on shirt was, shook my hand and to top it off we got our picture taken with him. My heart was beating so fast when he was about to sign my ticket. I went to the show jokingly saying I wanted to meet him and shake his hand but there was still that ounce of doubt in the back of my mind.
Everybody who knows me or has at least spent 30 minutes with me know that I am obsessed with cats. So naturally this FJM t-shirt was right up my ally, no it is beyond that, it is in the alley. I love things like this. It's so strange that it's gorgeous.
Becasue I literally love every song off the album Fear Fun I'm just going to put the whole album here. Do what you want with it. This album has made me laugh and made me cry.

"I don't paint my dreams or nightmares, I paint my own reality"- Frida Kahlo

Outfit: Dress-Vintage/Purse-gift from my Grandma/Shoes-Eva &Zoe
Yesterday I went to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta to see the Frida and Diego exhibit. I tried to dress for the occasion. As expected it was amazing. They had both of their work together from Diego's cubism to Frida's corset cast. I loved the background info that was with certain paintings, it gave more insight into their work at that certain period of time.
My favorite piece there was Diego Riviera's mural Man at the Crossroads. It was only a life size picture of the mural but it was still fascinating. You could look at that mural for days, there was so much going on. Sorry the pictures so blurry.
I had to get the Frida poster! They had prints but they were out of my price range. I like how the poster has one of her most famous pieces and the name and date of the exhibit. As you may or may not know I like to burn things, candles, incense etc. so I purchased a Frida Kahlo candle. In addition to that I got a button of her looking hella fly.

Here's some of my (and Chantelle's) favorite pieces from the exhibit:

I can say I'll hope it will be worth what I give up

tea and creative loafing is how I start my summer break #clatl #summerbreak #tea #catbutt
I am officially on summer break! And as a result of such i have compiled a list of links of my current favorites. The picture above is how I started of my break, with a cup if tea and Creative Loafing.

Zines: I recently bought three zines from Caleb Blackwell off his Etsy, GQ Tales. They are physically small but pack a punch. The zines are blunt and straight to the point. They deal with a variety of issues from “confidence” to “gender norms”and in each the authors’ voice is clearly heard.

Artsy Fartsy: Browntourage- It is made up of two young women promoting diversity in various aesthetic media. They work nationally but originate from the Bay Area. I originally found their Tumblr via Girls Get Busy and fell in love. In addition to their blog they run the virtual art gallery Konversations and their portfolio has everything from editorial photography to web design.

Music: A dash of folk, a dash of Jefferson Airplane, and some snazzy dance moves you get Father John Misty. Former member of the Fleet Foxes, J. Tilman, along with a band make up the Father John Misty. I only discovered this lovely treasure as a result of my love for the actress Aubrey Plaza who stared in the video for the song “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings”. His haunting voice can take you away but his various dance moves will keep you grounded.

I'll leave you with some sweet tunes..................

I close my eyes until I see

I close my eyes until I see
I don't need hands to touch me
Be a body
I need not waltz until I stand
I touch my face with my hand
Be a body
-Grimes
I am calm. To avoid becoming stressed about finals and various other deadlines I have tried not to do anything, which is dumb. Through avoidance I am not stressed. It's like a game I play with myself. If I do/think about my assignments I will become stressed, but if I neglect everything I am calm because I am not doing/thinking about anything. It is affective in the short run but pushing things to the last minute will only cause more distress.
My resent complete and utter lack of interest in school has not hurt me yet but if I continue this way who knows what will happen. I must find some type of motivation soon before it is too late. I will leave you with a song that I've had on repeat for about two weeks now.
P.S: my dress is thrifted and I made the glitter collar
