I'm a patriot and I didn't even know it

Outfit: Shirt- thrifted/ Skirt- Old Navy/Purse and Shoes- Vintage
(my "I'm not really gunna ride this bike I'm one of those fake posing ladies")

This outfit is from a month ago but it's the most appropriate for today. July 4th for me is mainly about food: going to my grands, barbecue and flag themed pies and cakes. I choose not to reflect on the country I was born and raised in because it will only make me depressed. So much needs to be done, so much hasn't changed. Any who, have a good time celebrating (if that's what u do) or relaxing or just have a nice weekend!

Atlanta Zine Fest 2014

Outfit: Thrifted + Vintage Shoes/Bra=Target

Zines and merch I acquired at the AZF
Those who follow my Tumblr know I had an amazing time. I'm an introvert but in that setting I felt comfortable enough to really be able to interact with customers and fellow vendors. The whole atmosphere was energizing and inspiring. To be in a large space with other zinesters, artist and people curious to see/learn more about the zines put a smile on my face.

By the appearance of my outfit I was pretty laid back. When you table for roughly 7-8 hours you need to be comfortable (which I forgot applied to shoes and my feet were swollen afterwards). My shirt has the ABC's of Cats on it and to my surprise there were many cat people at the AZF (Catlanta).

See you soon,
